KellyJean’s Pass It On Cards

Hi there CardMaker fans! I’m going all FAN CRAZY today and sharing three of my fave paper arts companies as well as one of my all-time favorite projects. I could make these little treasures ’til the cows come home! HA!

These little treasures are perfect to keep in your purse, wallet, glove compartment or desk drawer for more than just the obvious reason—THEY’RE SO STINKIN’ CUTE! Pull one out when a friend is having a rough day or pull one out when YOU yourself are having a rough day! Make up a set of birthday Pass It On Cards to keep on hand so that when you forget a friend’s birthday, BOOM! You have it covered with your super cute little pack of Pass It On Cards. Give the birthday gal or guy a card OR give’m the whole shebang, envelope and all! These little jewels are SO easy to make, you won’t mind giving them away as quickly as you can make them.

I personally love the 3 x 4-inch Pass It On Cards, but you can make your cards any size your sweet heart desires.

I used Stampin’ Up!’s Envelope Punch to create my envelope.

Um, yes … they are my fave paper arts company NUMBER ONE (because they really are number one for me. I’m so in love with SU!!)

I trimmed my decorative paper from Illustrated Faith to measure 6 x 6 inches and simply followed the super easy-to-follow instructions found on the Envelope Punch Board.

And yes … fave paper arts company number two is Illustrated Faith (pst … which is really Bella BLVD—swoon.) I love their fresh, fun and relevant designs in everything they create.

Stamp up any kind of Pass It On Cards you wish and do just that … PASS IT ON. I love making Scripture Pass It On Cards. I use them to help with my personal memorization as well as notes to cheer my coworkers, family and friends.

That leads me to my final fave company which is Verve Stamps. I turn to Verve first and foremost when it comes to my favorite Scripture images. They seem to have every verse I am familiar with and then verses that I need exactly for every occasion.

I hope you are inspired to create a few of these absolutely adorable little packages of gold and pass on cheer and encouragement while making the world a brighter place to be. YOU’RE AWESOME! Pass it on!

Creative thoughts,

Hand Lettering in a Circle Shape (FineTec Pearl Watercolors)

Happy Friday, all! Today I have another lettering project and video. I’ve been wanting to try lettering inside a shape for a while now. It definitely takes some practice! I hope to practice this type of lettering more very soon. 🙂 After sketching the design onto black cardstock using a mechanical pencil, I used a […]

Catherine’s Technique of the Week: Watercoloring

Hello everyone! Catherine here and I’m back for another Friday of crafting fun. Today I want to share my go-to paper-crafting technique with you and how you can achieve beautiful results using easy watercoloring techniques. I know that not everyone wants or can afford to invest in a nice watercolor palette and fill it with expensive paints, […]
